Skills for the Working Environment – Level 5

Course Overview

The Skills for the Working Environment is a combination of Work Experience and Communication courses designed to provide the learner with the knowledge, skills and competence to communicate verbally and non-verbally in both personal and professional scenarios. The course is guided and supported by a career coach for the learners best interest.

Who Should Attend?

Individuals who are looking to up-skill in the area of communication, individuals looking for a career change, and individuals with the interest in communications or who need to improve on their communication skills and advance in their profession.

• Work organisation and personal career opportunities
• Rights and responsibilities of employees
• Key challenges and opportunities
• Individual career plan
• Effective communication skills
• Options for future education, training and employment

Assessment

After the completion of this course, the learner will be able to effectively communicate using both verbal and non-verbal communication as a person or a team member within a business or organisation.

Award Body

All MIDAS Group business courses are accredited by QQI (Quality & Qualifications Ireland) and are mapped into the National Qualifications Framework.
